Tasting Notes of Cortijo Los Aguilares Pago del Espino
COLOR
Deep cherry with garnet edges.
AROMA
Notes of wild berries, balsamic, and spices. The dominant Petit Verdot shows through its mineral and balsamic character, while the other varieties soften it, adding a rich load of ripe fruit and refreshing nuances.
PALATE
The palate is fresh, long, and very complex.
A wine that will improve with years in the bottle, although it is already extraordinary to drink now.
The use of large barrels for aging preserves the fruity expression of the wine, giving it roundness and complexity, resulting in a smooth, fresh, and very long palate.
It is a mountain wine, coming from unique vineyards that are carefully tended throughout the year to achieve the maximum expression of the surrounding landscape in the glass.
